1. The sun or as the Spanish call him 'el Sol'

This is not a common occurance in England but an experiance enjoyed by many in Spain. One must experiance this sensation and the warmth the 'el Sol' gives off to one´s skin.

Warning : The 'el Sol' has harmful side effects and it may reden the delicate English skin.

2. The leg of the pig (pata cochino)

This is a dish every person in the entire world has to try. This is a massive secret which the Spanish have held dearly to for many centuries. I may even die for revealing such secrets, but the world needs to know.

I want to thank all the pigs who have contributed to this cause.

3. Pipas Tijuana

These are another gift Spain has to offer. One can not leave the country without tasting them. These are a must for all visitors, and by all means take some home with you.

4. Chocolate con churros

This is a delicasy I have just discovered. If you don´t have this, then your life is not complete (except through Jesus Christ my Saviour).

However, too many make us English folk very very very sick.

5. Spanish Coffee

The Spanish can get one thing right, and no, it is not a slow painful way of killing a bull. It is making coffee. I don´t know how they do it, but they have certainly convinced me.

6. The 'la piscina'

This is something that I have never experianced properly yet, but I see them all over Spain. This is a good feature in this country as you are able to mix a few of the items in the above list with it. For example, this goes really well with No. 1, the 'el Sol'. You can also eat Pipas in them and/or churos I guess. I very much look forward to one day use one myself. If anybody has any infomation that they would like to share on such, then please feel free to do so.

7. Corn Nuts

Granted, you can buy this delicious food type in other parts of the world, but they are so tasty and you can certainly not buy them in England.

England is indeed a brilliant country, which I find hard to fault, but this is where it lets itself down. You can not buy good tasty, junk food.

Buy a packet of these bad boys and tell me if I am wrong.

8. Eat Piella

This dish is a little stange, but one has to try it. It is a typical meal that we associate with Spain, along with donkeys red wine. Try the sea food dish and you will not be left wanting.

9. Enjoy a Siesta

This is an essential time for any Spanish related person. Without such, the universe may even implode.

If you are a visitor to Spain, do not expect to find anything open during the hours of 13:00-17:00.

10. Buy a Spanish hat

This is the typical Spanish hat and not a Sombrero. You often see men walking down the street with one of these on. In order not to look like a tourist, one should purchase a hat like this.
